Has anyone seen this error on eBay?
I’m getting it now, and have never seen it before.
Never mind. The error is gone now.
I get this error occasionally.
I suspect it means they are having trouble getting your info from their database server. Possibly due to a high number of people being logged in causing too many simultaneous database hits.
Typically it occurs during their “non-outage outage”.
They won’t take the entire site down, just some of it. So when you get that message it generally means that part of the system is out for repair.
Friday night (local time) is when this happens the most here. Probably around 3:00am PST your part of the world.
Just got the same error now, and it certainly isn’t a quiet time of the day for eBay UK. Still, I’m not worried, just thought I’d post for the sake of posting
