EBF or BFE?

Simple and short: do you call it East BumFuck or BumFuck Egypt? Or something else?
For fun, post where you live, or any funny variations.

East Japip (live in NEPA)

Bumfuck, Egypt? For real? Never heard of it.

Though I just “East Jesus” is probably just as unknown to a lot of people.

Oh, and I use EBF…born and raised in Massachusetts, never heard BFE until I moved south to Florida.

I’ve always heard East Bumfuck. Although growing up in Virginia Beach we called it “Pungo.”

Bumfuck Egypt actually sounds like an interesting place, as long as you don’t bend over.

BFE. Didn’t learn the term until I was in college (in Wisconsin), and then, it was “Boofoo Egypt”.

I don’t think I ever heard the term in any sort of popular culture reference until the movie “Men in Black”, when Will Smith makes a reference to “BFE Jersey”.

EBF makes more sense to me, because, why Egypt? That’s not the kind of place it’s referring to. But I usually hear BFE so that’s what I voted. I’m in Seattle.

Outer Mongolia

Neither, growing up it was BFI. Either Bum Fuck, India or Bum Fuck, Illinois depending on the scale of out-thereness.

Bumblefuck.

BFE, American who lived all over the US and now overseas.

My dad always called it Little Rabbit, Australia.

Born in 1944. Never heard anything except BFE.

Except, in the US (at least IME), it’s Butt-Fucking Egypt.

I grew up in Atlanta, and we’d say (all meaning the same thing, but the more syllables, the farther away):

-East (West) Bumble
-East (West) Bumblefuck
-Bumblefuck
-Bumblefuck Nowhere
-East Jesus Nowhere

Asscrack, Alabama.

This and bumfuck Egypt are the only two I ever heard. Born in 1970, lived in Nor Cal and Seattle.

BFE. Learned it as “beyond fucking Egypt”, have since heard it as “bumfuck Egypt”, but same-same. I’ve uttered it as “BFE” many a time in southwest Virginia, northern New York, and rural Arkansas, all without anyone raising an eyebrow. For what it’s worth, I’d never heard of “EBF” until this thread, though I’ve heard (and used) East Bumfuck in its entirety.

BFE here in the mid of west. I never heard the term before until I moved to Indiana.

I always just call it “Out in da country.”

“Bumfuck, Arkansas” has always been my phrase of choice.
