Ed Zotti to speak at UTenn-Knoxville on Wed., 10-24-2012

I’ll be speaking at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville about “Research and Writing in the Age of Wikipedia” on Wednesday, October 24 at 7 p.m. in the University Center auditorium. Despite what this announcement implies, the event is open to all at no charge. Here are directions for getting to the venue. I’ll ramble on aimlessly for an hour or so, then take questions, preferably of the softball variety. Any Doper in the area with some time to kill is invited to stop by.

It’s only 2532 miles from Portland. If I leave after lunch tomorrow…
…Nevermind-My Beloved says it ain’t gonna happen. Now, if you ever make it to the Left Coast I’ll be there.

How come Cecil never lands a gig like that?

Where did the term “kitten ball” originate?

Is the talk going to be taped? I’d love to see it.

How about a podcast?

Exposing himself to the unwashed masses? For Pete’s sake, that’s why he has an editor.
