Okay now that your in here I gotta question… when is the next Edmonton dopefest? I missed the last one cuz we started practice that weekend. I gotta meet you guys sometime I just can’t be near the many cool people and not.
So shall I put aside a Saturday? I’m pretty much booked till August though… Except maybe the 29th has to check again

I was supposed to be planning one for this month.
For me, I have loose plans for the month, but nothing set in stone. I can probably make it any night you want.
Let’s say a Friday or Saturday night. That leaves us:
Friday the 13th (yeah!) or Saturday the 14th
Friday the 20th or Saturday the 21
Friday the 27th or Saturday the 28
Anyone who wants to come, please let me know which dates do or do not work for you. We’ll try to arrange for maximum participation. Please also leave your vote for location.
The last two times were at Sherlock Holmes pubs (on Whyte and at West Ed). My vote is for somewhere quiet enough to talk, where I won’t feel like a fossil, and preferably where they serve drinks and have air conditioning. I need enough notice to book a babysitter.

Um yah the 28 is good for me cuz I don’t have practice that day… I think… you see I can’t find the schedule but I seem to recall it being about then unless they change it. West Ed or Whyte bites her lip thinking West Ed is closer but it’s easier to get to Whyte… more direct as I have to deal with buses and trains. goes to check out the other thread
The 28th is best for me - I’ll be driving in from Airdrie so a Saturday will work better than a Friday. As far as location goes, I’ll leave that up to someone who knows the city. I’ve seen the Via station and the airport, and that’s it. Somewhere quiet and with some decent food and beer would be nice, though.

We don’t have to go to a Sherlock Holmes. I don’t get out enough to suggest another place, though.
I’ll be in town on the 13th as a mildly excited spectator at some sports activity at Commonwealth* and may be able to make the 14th, but no guarantees.
