Not so. It was 1968 when the destruction of America began . It’s been a decades-long process.
My pre-1968 comments were made so as to make it clear that conservatives don’t necessarily regard the fifties as the most ideal time in American life because people didn’t actually start to become the beligerent, accusatory, poorly dressed and ill-behaved (and to a considerable degree, drug-using) assholes they are today until circa 1968.
But of course all that was necessary to undo racism. :rolleyes:
Exactly when in 1968 was that? Really, I want to know. Of course the Fifties were much better. Cold War and Brinkmanship were in full swing, Commies were gonna nuke us all from Sputnik, and McCarthyism was the only thing protecting us. Uh huh. It was a golden age.
But people were so polite ! No pushing in front of the water fountains and buses and such.
That can be remedied . . . at least, it can on Halloween.
Reading the lyrics to this song, does anyone else think it must use melody of “Looking Out My Backdoor” by CCR?
