Elizabeth Edwards posts on a message board

Chris Heinz too, on the discussion forums of Democratic Underground. Some people were wary, but the moderator confirmed it before he moved her first post from the middle of a thread to a thread of its own. According to Elizabeth, she’s a long-time DU reader (she also said that on a C-Span interview) and has been on the net for a long long time.

I always think it’s interesting when a “famous” person admits to being a net person. I liked Elizabeth more than anyone else in the Kerry campaign. She always came off as very smart, warm and funny, and she had the issues down cold. I know other people here liked her during the campaign which is why I’m passing this on.

Warning: Democratic Underground is a VERY partisan site. Those on the other side are not looked upon too kindly by some, especially now when emotions are still raw. And, as with any message board, there are some nutters with strange beliefs. It’s still a good, informative site for anyone left-leaning. You just have to take the bad with the good and filter filter filter.

I’m not too familiar with her, but I know I felt for her and her family when she found out about her breast cancer on the same day Kerry conceded. What a rough day.

Not sure I really want to check out the site, though. I’m not Republican, but I’m not Democrat, either.

This explains her comment about fearing riots if Bush won.

“You just have to take the bad with the good and filter filter filter.” Do that there and there’s almost nothing left.

And she quotes Jefferson as saying “A little patience, and we shall see the reign of witches pass over” after hanging out with those nuts?

Now I know we just dodged a bullet.

I’m sure she also drives an automobile, knows how to operate a microwave oven, and has a preference whether the toilet paper in her home feeds off the front vs. off the back. This is news/threadworthy for what specific reason?
