If that ad will make more Repubs hate her, I understand why we can not communicate with them. Good is bad and black is white.
They used “job creators” in that ad? Seriously, are there people who’s eyes don’t roll automatically at that term? The Mass GOP is really scraping the bottom of the barrel here. Did they hire the people that did Kerry Healy’s ads?
I sure hope so.
Which is how they became so rich. We have always had rich people ,but we have not always favored them so much with legislation and tax breaks as badly as we do now.
i agree completely
If calling her “Professor” doesn’t work, I understand that Plan B is to call her “Four Eyes”.:rolleyes:
A tea party member crashed a Warren meeting and called her a “socialist whore” who works for a “foreign boss” before embarrassing himself more by not being able to make a quick exit. Elizabeth Warren Heckled By Tea Party Supporter | HuffPost Latest News
Keep it classy, tea party!
I think Elizabeth Warren handled that quite well.
And I think that anyone who’s been out of a job for almost two years and lays the blame for that on the people protesting the guys on Wall Street who blew up the world economy instead of the guys on Wall Street who blew up the world economy either has an unwavering dedication to his beliefs or is certifiably stupid.
OK, it’s both.
I have to wait a whole year before I can vote for her?
But I want to vote for her <whine>NOW</whine>
I know, I wanna move so I can vote for her.
What, a politician who’s actually capable of keeping her cool? You don’t see that much any more.
No Huff-po at work, would someone mind summarizing?
A Tea Party supporter interrupted Elizabeth Warren’s speech last night to yell at her about her views, the crowd stated to shout him down, she asked them to let him speak, he did, she started to answer his questions, he called her a socialist whore and stormed out.
This only serves to enflame my political crush on her.
I can’t vote for her at all. But I can send her money, and I did.
OK, so after their previous dishonest ad attacked Elizabeth Warren for supporting Occupy Wall Street, Karl Rove’s group Crossroads GOP is out with a new dishonest ad claiming that she is too cozy with the big banks. Just to set things straight, Mike Konczal’s reviews the actual record of Warren’s tenure as head of the TARP oversight committee and GOP shills attacking her for being too hard on the poor systemically important financial institutions.
Yeah, I’ve seen that ad before and I thought it was sponsored by her campaign.
Yes the folks who consider themselves job creators.
She kind of has an Annette Benning sort of feel to her. I always liked Annette Benning, you know smart/sexy. Ohh maybe she can play Elizabeth Warren in the movie.
FWIW, both The Nation and In These Times have special issues on Elizabeth Warren this month.
And she isn’t mad at the guy for doing that, and just sees it as indicative that he’s been lied to.
Brown would vote straight republican if he thought it’d be ok. Instead he’s just careful to vote away from the party on issues where it doesn’t matter, or cosponsor something more or less innocuous. When the vote matters, he’s always republican. And that’s fine if a party member wants to vote with the party. I don’t fault him on that. But it’s a load of shit that he’s some kind of independent thinker just doin’ what’s best for the state, with his modest truck loaded with humble pie, who just happens to be republican.
MA is not the democratic fortress everyone makes it out to be, and that doesn’t really bother me because it keeps people engaged. But I’d really like to see Brown go. I think reasonable Republicans can exist, and he’s not one of them.
