Me too, too. I’m 63
Her daytime show? Some lesbians are a little put-off because Ellen’s “not gay” on her show.
This. This is why I like her.
We were watching her show one day when I turned to my husband, giggling: “Ellen is silly.” He likes her, too, and he agreed with me. And I think that’s just it: she’s silly. Lighthearted, kinda goofy. She’s just fun. Nope, I don’t howl with laughter when she’s on, either, but she does make me smile. And mean it.
Yep. She has a good show. I can go brew a cup of coffee while I’m watching her, but I do hurry back. I sometimes think of something she said (or did) later on and get a bonus chuckle* out of it.
Women giggle.
Men chuckle.
All I have to do is say “toaster” to my lesbian buddy and she’ll get a good laugh.
I love it when Neil Patrick Harris is on her show, because she always makes him do a magic trick of some sort.
Uh huh. Takes a lot of comvincing, right.
They go together good, don’t they? Separated at birth? Nah.
Anyway, isn’t he Malcom’s brother?
Right. And she’s pretty damned good off the cuff with her interviews. She does the written stuff great, but where she really shines is off the cuff where there is no way it was written. I definitely rank her as one of the funniest people around.
Yes, like this clip that someone just sent to my yesterday – absolutely hilarious, although Ellen is mainly just playing the straight man. Err… you know what I mean.
Calling Gladys
That was great. And real. Ellen really cracked up. And so did I. Gladys is, indeed, a hoot.
Ellen is 50 yrs old?
