I turn the channel, there he or she is. These two stink, I don’t get it. One has alot of money and the other is a lesbian. Who cares… I’m dumbstruck on how two talentless sea-level celebrity’s can get so much exposure. Just go away!
Couldn’t care less about DT, but ED is a very talented stand-up and, if you like the persona she projects, an amusing actor. She’s a decent host on her talk show and what I’ve seen of her on awards shows she’s funny.
Hey! Ellen Degeneres is not talentless. Have you seen one of her stand-up routines? I happen to think she is hilarious. :mad:
I love Ellen. Her stand-up, her books, her show, her movies… “Talentless” is just about the last thing I’d ever expect anyone to say when talking about her.
DT may not be everyone’s cup of tea but he is very intelligent and astute in certain specific limited areas (ie developing NY City real estate) and has had some notable failures outside those areas. He is overexposed but he’s no dummy.
She was funny the first and second time I saw her but since then her schtick has gotten old. Of course I find that most stand up comedians have a limited shelf life and ED is no different.

I like Ellen more the less I see of her. Her act/schtick is not one that lends itself to overexposure. Thankfully she’ll be getting less exposure the farther we get from the emmys.
I’d like to hate the Donald, but there’s just something strangely fascinating about his hair. It’s like a train wreck…but much worse.
Another Ellen fan tunning in. She manages to get real sounding replies out of her guests, and I liked her sitcom.
I went to a club last night … Ellen was there.
I like Ellen in small doses when I get a glimpse. I’m not home during daytime so I don’t run across her show.
Trump on the other hand…
Someone needs to tell him his 15 minutes of fame are over (TV fame that is, he needs to get out of the spotlight and go back to his business dealings.)
It’s kind of sad when I see the highly touted “Trump Ice” on a back endcap in Target on closeout for 45 cents a bottle collecting dust.
I saw Donald Trump drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic’s. His hair was perfect.
Same hear, btw. HGowever, when I can, I listen to her on my walkman, which receives TV audio as well. Just fyi.
I’m a big fan of Ellen’s stand up. I’m not hugely impressed by her day-time TV show, but it’s a format I don’t care for in the first place, and I suppose she does better at it than most would. And she’s dating Portia de Rossi, which is just insanely unfair.
As for Trump, I wouldn’t give a fart in a high wind for him.
