Actually, I think some of their members are advocating not bothering us for one reason or another.
While I don’t like the idea of board invasions in either direction, it would horrible to be told that as a member of one board, I can’t participate on another board.
Now this is what is depressing me. I saw the influx of white-power posters get their asses kicked in debate here. And then I checked out the other board to read about how they kicked the Doper’s asses in debate. They think they made their cause look pretty good over here! People only see what they want to see, don’t we?
All they have to do is follow the rules, which include no hate-speech. Kinda thows a wrench into their usual style.
I think they’re right on that last point. Some of them did indeed do a good job of proselytizing. Problem is, they equate proselytizing with debating.
Coincidentally, I also have three mixed race latino cousins, Miriam (age 9), Gabriel (age 7) and Alonso (age 5), who are bright and adorable beyond measure. They’re half Costa Rican (mongrely, afaik), one quarter Ashkenazik Jew, and one quarter generic-America-whitey-descended-from-Revolutionary-war-general. Would anyone like to judge them or their parents based on their racial makeup? Anyone? Anyone?

One of the funniest things I read on their site today was a comment by someone complaining that the moderation here at the dope was unfair; he knows this to be the case because he has been banned no less than five times; there isn’t a rolleyes smiley big enough.
