Enright3 feels melancholy today

OK, I thought I had moved on.

I actually went on my first date a couple of weeks ago.

My older two children (ages 22 and 19) individually told me I was being short tempered. (except they didn’t word it so nice :frowning: )

Today (July 11th) is the two year anniversary of my wife’s death. I guess I’m not as “over it” as I thought I was.

~sigh~

I’m sorry. It sounds like you have every right to feel melancholy. Maybe it would help to share some of it with the kids…they probably feel it, too. Two years is a very short time to mourn someone so dear, and you will probably feel some degree of sadness for a long time yet. Don’t be too hard on yourself.
