Here, I’ll do it:
Wearia.
Better?
Here, I’ll do it:
Wearia.
Better?
And I’m still around 600. You, the clueless one, and Wearia all joined after me. That mean I have a life?
There’s no need to yell, viva. Or is there? Have you been teaching him Vulcan pilates? :dubious:
Maybe. All I know for certain is that you need to post more.
Evidently.
Nice to see you again. You must be on a break from that “life” thing.
In completely unrelated news, I’m getting my own apartment. It’s a two story two bedroom place on one of the main streets here in town and is only running me $500.
I feel like such a grown-up. ;j
No one congratulated me. Hmph.
How much longer do we have to wait until the new season begins? Everyone hear that Bermaga’s still in charge and the Coto rumor was just that… a rumor?
PS: viva, have you gotten your books delivered to you yet? I’m curious to read it.
We did it in the thread about your apartment iirc.
As for the Bergama news, it is sad. I have a discussion just waiting for informed opinions at NIFSTD.
Congratulations*. It feels really neat to get a place all your own. Happy decorating.
Do you have a cite that shows that Coto-in-Charge is only a rumor?
** This is the first email I’ve gotten on this thread in a Targ’s age!*
It was from trek oday.
I linked to it here.
Also from Trektoday: http://www.trektoday.com/news/140704_04.shtml
I love Ira Steven Behr.
You know, that nice Irish place mentioned in Frank Herbert’s White Plague.
:dubious:
Congrats, congrats, congrats!
(Aes.)
No, no books yet, but as I recall, they were about a month late last year as well.
As soon as I hear anything I will let you and the others know.
Oh, and ENT is moving to its Friday slot the first week of August, I believe.
See, Aes? All you have to do is whine and you get a ton of congratulations.
I wish you happy apartementing as well.
Moved to Friday. The death knell of just about anything that’s not a sitcom or family drama. It’s kind of sad after all the work that was done to save it.
They’ve tried to save it? What? When? All I can remember is UPN doing their best to sabotage it.
All the work FANS did, is what I think he meant. But, yeah, Bergama ego is going to kill Trek, UPN moving it to Friday will kill it, horrible concepts poorly written will kill it. We couldda had Coto. We couldda been a contender…
I will watch and comment on Season IV, but that last 30 seconds of Season III really worries me.
On a positive note, the Temporal Cold War might end about mid season, and they will begin building on the Federation founding. Or so rumor says.*
*this entire thread is a spoiler, even the title says spoiler, so don’t worry about discussing Season IV spoilers I say.
The idea is that the Friday night slot will move ENT out of competition with Smallville on Wednesdays; and that since The X Files plugged along for nine seasons in the Friday 9pm slot, ENT could survive. Joan of Arcadia does well at 8pm, and while JAG will also be on at 9pm that night, I don’t know if it’s pulling in the ratings the way it used to.
We’ll see.
I thought The X Files was a Sunday night show? I never watched it so I could be wrong but I could have sworn it came on after the Simpsons or am I hallucinating?
I really do not hold any hope for Enterprise lasting. I used to be an optimist but all the indicators point to UPN dumping it for a lineup composed entirely of reality shows and urban comedies. Ugh.
(And totally off-topic, there was a mini-Trekdope last Saturday when **Cervaise ** and I met in Washington as part of the PNWFest. He’s a pretty cool guy. We need to have a true Trekdope one of these days. I say we all meet at viva’s.)
The X Files ran on Friday nights for a long time before it moved to Sundays, but you are correct; it did indeed shift. I wonder if Sunday nights would be any better for ENT?
Then again, who watches UPN besides us?
