Looking at the description for “Dawn”, it looks like a cross between “Enemy Mine” and the old Clarke short story, “Summertime on Icarus”.
I have that effect on people. Myself included.
To address StPaul’s observation regarding Porthos - I would so love to see that! Archer takes the dog to all kinds of inappropriate places with him (hostile planets, decon room, etc.), It wouldn’t have surprised me if Porthos had gone along to the Wacked Out Repair Station from Hell, too. Betcha he’d have gotten more lines than Travis.
Viva: I didn’t see the teaser, so are you serious? Are they really doing another episode of Commander Trip Underpants (or Undershirt) Saves the Day? Off the top of my head, I can think of four other shows in which he has spent a good deal of time running around in his underwear. Poor bastard - he must get chilly. Not that I’m complaining!

I wouldn’t joke about something we take so very seriously.
Yeah, I think your count is right…not that I’m doing a running tab or anything…
Connor Trinneer is one hairy guy, no?

So far, it seems to confirm my earlier read on this episode - “Enemy Mine” meets “Summertime on Icarus” (or one of the other variations on this story).
Think Trip will get pregnant again? He’s such a slut…
I wish someone, anyone, would’ve done a redo of Arena. Talk about your hostile aliens!
“Resistence! Is useless!”
“I mean, what is it? The machismo? The leather? The mindless tedium?”
Ooops! Channeling Dougie again.
Set phasers on “Stunning!”
Ooh! Directed by Torres… was she any good at directing?
Well, she directed the ep. about P’Jemm (sp?) and “Dead Stop,” and a pretty good episode of Voyager. She also directs episodes of Dawson’s Creek when Robby McNeill isn’t doing them. So you be da judge.
Ah, yes… Pointy eared weirdo invents velcro. Good ep. Not enough Panda, but still good.
What is this Dawson’s Creek? A PBS fishing show?
(oh my gawd, I just noticed there is an Enterprise message board! What the hell do they talk about, I wonder?)
Well! That was a waste of time. They call Chef, Cook! And no pandas anywhere. Some people really need to get a life. (Why are you looking at me like that?)
someone should clue them in to where the real action is. On second thought, they seem lame, so maybe we don’t want them…
Eh? Not “Carbon Creek,” m’dear. I mean the one from season 1 when the Andorians are in the Vulcan temple. Perhaps you were mixing up Roxann Dawson with Dawson’s Creek with Carbon Creek?
[Trip]Well, sonofabitch![/Trip] I just realized that I teach on Wed. nights this semester and will have to tape ENT. for later viewing.
Later than any of youse. sigh
The Government’s been trying to figure out my mind’s workings for years. Every time they capture me its needles, tests, questions… And you figure it out with one try.
Two words, Viva… that was* AWESOME!!!*
Now we know why the Boy says he has NoClue. All his clues keep changing places!
Aw, shucks. Well, that’s what comes of having a brain clogged with minutiae; at least it enables me to figure out obscure and odd stuff easily and quickly.

[lobs gob o’ Porthos poo at Aes’s noggin]…
“Dead Stop”: A Very Special Episode In Which Archer Starts to Grow a Spine, Only to be Distracted by A Bunch of Other Stuff.
If I worked with Hoshi, I’d get distracted and experience some growth in my spine too.
Well, you’ll get a modicum of Hoshi in this one. Gonna tape it fer ye.
I should be able to send you a full tape after this week or next. Depends on what they rerun next.
Speaking of which, has there been a Hoshi episode?
