Enterprise Storm Front 2 Spoilers

Movies…

Beside being the computer voice for the TNG movies, she was in TMP and TVH as Doctor Christine Chapel. I don’t recall if she had aa speaking part in TVH, but I think she had a line or two in TMP.

In addition to the computer voice in VOY, she is listed as Narrator in S. VII’s Workforce.

Voice does count if she herself says it does!

Gene’s dead and it’s no longer her franchise so her word alone means nothing and providing your voice for a live action show is not equal to guest starring unless it’s something like DS9’s “The Sound of Her Voice” where the voice has a starring role.

In your humble opinion.

Which I respect but do not agree with on this minor point.

IMDb credits her with guest star status even though merely a voice. Even if you don’t want to “credit” her with an appearance, she has indeed been involved in all of them but ENT.

Can we move on now?

:dubious:

She was definitely involved and I was never disputing that. I just don’t give the same status to a disembodied voice as I do a guest-starring actor and don’t consider her work as Federation Computer to be the same as Christine Chapel or Lwaxana Troi.

Moving on…
Now, as to why Porthos was used as a decoy grenade launcher tower…

How come if if I want to use the er version of tow it ends up looking like a tall structure? (Tower)
One of the things I didn’t much like about this ep, even tho it tied up the TCW, is that it still left too many unanswered questions about it. Minor , little, maybe unimportant things, but it still bugs me. Ah well, if we have to throw out those answers to get back to real Trek, I guess it’s okay.

I will reserve any real, critical comment about Manny’s performance until after I see something that he didn’t inherit from B&B.

I just realised something. I don’t recall seeing any MACO in these two eps.

Where were they?

I’m quite sure I saw MACOs in the scene where Archer comes back to Earth to retrieve Trip n’ Mayweather. NCB, what were you looking at? The living room floor?

Silik has quite a beer belly. And I think John Fleck is channeling Geoffrey Rush.

Where the hell is Chef??

I laughed when Silik was wearing the striped shirt.

It doesn’t look like anybody lost their memory of what happened over the past year. But I’m still not clear on the Seven Million. Are they all still dead, like Generalissimo Francisco Franco?

Shouldn’t Silik have known that his true self would show up on a diagnostic scan?

They were gonna cancel the show at the end of the second season. And then at the end of third. Aes was convinced there would be no fourth season. We are going to do our darndest to make sure there is a fifth, and maybe even a sixth and seventh.

In case any of you don’t know, Aesiron and I are planning to use our cogenitor, NoClueBoy, to help us give birth to a bouncing baby Goo.

Seven of Nine is due on Two and a Half Men next week.

Got all that?

Who is Silik? Should I know that name? 'cause I don’t. Of course, I don’t remember thinking S3 was going to be the last season so I guess my brain isn’t what it used to be.

I hope our goo’s a girl. And we aren’t naming her Antonia.

Silik is the main Suliban we see. He has a thing for men in uniform.

That explains why I have no idea who he is. They were never a major plot point when I was watching the end of S2 and all through S3. Or am I forgetting him again?

Eh. I’m out of it tonight. Stressed by finances and stuff. Not fun.

This episode had one of the best lines I’ve heard on Star Trek in a long time…

[paraphrase]“I’ve had enough of your ‘temporal cold war’! You leave me and my crew out of it from now on!”[/paraphrase]

Y’know, not that the line was that great, or classic, or anything. But…I think Archer was speaking for all of us, just then.

Silik has been on the show a number of times. He always calls Archer “Jon” in a come-hither voice.

Go ahead, smart guy. Dis Oatmeal Face now that he’s dead and can’t strike back.

Byzantines.

^:dubious:^

Make that “Smart gal.”
Hey, Silik and Eugene Tooms are the same guy. Oh, he’ll be back all right.

Whew, UPN 20 in DC is continuing to re-run the show on Saturday at 6 PM, so am catching it then, though may I add yet again “damn you, CBS/Viacom, for scheduling Enterprise opposite Joan of Arcadia!”

Thank goodness this TCW storyline is -finally- over (knocks on wood three times)!!! I suspect that John Fleck (“Silik”) will turn up in future episodes–not as Silik (or maybe …?) but probably as another alien. He doesn’t seem to mind the make-up, since he’s got a similar amount to don for his role “Carnivale.” While the Enterprise crew seems to remember all that happened, I guess the people on Earth will not. Or did not … whatever! I’m beginning to understand why Vulcans were so against believing in time travel. :stuck_out_tongue:

Only a small glimpse of Phlox (Yea, I remembered his name this week!) and none of Porthos! The previews of next week’s episode, though … oh yeah! Love the Vulcans, although it is looking that it might be lifted from “Amok Time” (TOS). Will have to see. Slightly off-topic, but does anyone know anything about canon for Vulcan female names? Are they all “T’P —”? Something is telling me that may be the case. Sorry for the hijack!

Nope. Saavik, Valeris, and Selar are all Vulcan females with completely different names.

Correct.

Also, in ST3TSFS, I believe the elderly Vulcan lady was named T’Lar…?

T’Pol’s mother’s name is T’Les.

And he’s made entirely of Rice Krispie Treats.

I, for one, welcome the absence of our lame-assed time traveling overlords.
