What does anyone think? will the new series actually be any good? I am hoping so but not sure (I guess until we see it no can be sure)
I though the klingon ship seemed more futuristic than those in TOS . . .

After seeing the video, hearing the music, and seeing what the next Enterprise will look like (from another thread), I’m getting less and less hopeful about this series.
A friend of mine said it looked like Seaqueast DSV . . . . .

The trailer did not look promising but it is only a trailer (I will keep telling myself this)
Interesting point. I think we need to remember a trailer tends to focus on different things to the actual show . . . .
I just hope its less ‘lets make another Trek series because they make money’ and more ‘lets make a great show’
One of my concerns is over Dr. Phlox. He’s the alien doctor that doesn’t know much about human anatomy, and according to some websites, reportedly “loves to laugh.” So this guy is a cross between Dr. Hibbert and Dr. Zoidberg? And the preview of his makeup makes him look like Neelix and a Cardassian chick had a love-child.
Why couldn’t they just make him an Andorian?
God. If it is another Neelix, my interest level has now dropped by 99%. Bastards.
Went to check the trailers, but unfortunately, they didn’t have a direct download link. Of course, this AFTER the quicktime plugin bluescreened my computer (it has problems with dual-monitor systems)…maybe later tonight. Not sure if I care any more after reading the previous posts…

Five years from now, I’m going to be sitting around watching this show and I’m going to come out with that line and not be able to figure out where I heard it. I just met you, but I’m going to start hating you now for planting that little seed in my brain, Tars Tarkas.

Okay, I finally watched the trailers. The retching is finally starting to subside.
Maybe it’ll be better than the preview suggests…
Let’s hope so - Most of the trailers I have seen (ever not just Enterprise) have not been indcative of the quality of the film/programm.
