Enthusiastic Disapproval

When I want to physically express my discontent with myself, with others, or with the environment, I bend my left arm at the elbow, flail my wrist, and say “unnnhhh”. I know, it’s not politically correct. I’m deeply ashamed. But I only do it in a private manner. It’s a habit stemming from a joke at work.

What do you do to express your enthusiastic disapproval?

I do the same thing. Only instead of ‘unnnhhh’ I say, ‘Reee-reee-rooo!’ And I usually flail both arms. If I’m doing it to someone’s face I’ll often precede that with, ‘Oh, yeah? This is you.’

And yes, I know it’s wrong.
