Epstein Files => Trump Impeachment & Conviction?

What connection does this photo have to Jeffrey Epstein? None that I can tell. It’s looks to me like the DoJ took a random photo of Bill Clinton off the Internet and covered up the faces of three kids for no reason.

Perhaps the most prominent of the photos that were released yesterday—then ‘disappeared’–is File 468. It shows a drawer full of photos that prominently feature Donald with Epstein:

Exactly. And this photo being in the Epstein files just means it was on someone’s seized computer, probably. I’m sure the DOJ had no idea it was already available via other sources, they were just going through a mountain of pictures and covering the faces of minors.

I’ve seen all the speculation about this photo on Reddit but the Occam’s Razor explanation here is that there was nothing nefarious.

None of those pictures are evidence of anything.

Ooh look, people at a fund raising dinner. Ooh look, someone posing with Bill Clinton.

Photos without date, location or context are meaningless.

They are meaningless in a court of law. But law courts don’t matter.
The pics are meaningful and important in the place that matters–the court of public opinion.
And the court of Fox.

In a discussion of the new photos on CNN last night, Scott Jennings had obviously gotten the memo. He was arguing that the files should be called the Clinton files. Yeah, Jennings is a massive piece of shit but that’s the deflection Republicans are going for.

NPR:

This sounds a little like what I said in an earlier post, perhaps in another thread, is what a real smoking gun would look like.

But there are a few issues preventing it from being a new smoking gun.

First of all, the picture of the check was also part of an earlier release:

The Guardian

Secondly, the check seems to be a joke. One is that it’s oversized. Probably more significant is the lack of routing and account numbers. Of course, if you are joking about buying women, that tells us something. But what? That Trump pays a lot? Or is it that he is too cheap to ever pay that kind of money?

Third, although purchasing a women seems to most plausible explanation for the check, there is no notation saying that.

Fourth, Trump does not seem to be one of three men in the picture. I’m borderline face blind, so please correct me if wrong. If I’m correct, I’ll further point out that it does not have DJT’s normal signature. Sounds like others who know Trump well joking about him.

Fifth, while it seems to be evidence of paying for a prostitute, or several, we have no idea of her age.

Trump was flying with girls who the FBI flagged as Ghislaine Maxwell potential witnesses.

But, likewise, he flew with a 20 year old woman, and they don’t have any interest in having her as a potential witness. I take that to mean that these girls were underaged at the time.

Personally, I view the Epstein case primarily as a case about ,“What did he know and when? What did he do about that?”

So, at the moment, we’ve got Maria Farmer (circa 1995) saying that she overheard Trump casually mentioning to Epstein that she looked underaged. We had Trump’s interview where he noted that Epstein “liked them younger” (2002).

Epstein introduced a 14 year old to Trump as someone who might be good for Miss Teen USA.

“On two other flights, two of the passengers, respectively, were women who would be possible witnesses in a [Ghislaine] Maxwell case.” (circa 1993-1996).

It seems very difficult, at this point, to think that Trump didn’t understand what was going on.

In the latest batch of releases, there’s a handwritten letter from Epstein to fellow pedo Larry Nasser. It was previously reported that this letter existed, but this is the first time it’s been released. It was post-marked three days after Epstein died, and it starts with “As you will know by now, I have taken the ‘short route’ home…”

I’m not sure if JE had any previous contact with Nasser, but if not, it seems odd that he would just reach out at the end of his life out of the blue. The letter never made it to Nasser, as he apparently had been moved from the prison it was mailed to.

The letter also apparently implicates “our president,” as someone who "also shares our love of young, nubile girls. When a young beauty walked by he loved to ‘grab snatch.’ "

Pretty potentially damning, but I have to say strange as well. No previous connections between these two men, an apparent “farewell” note from JE before his death, and what was JE’s ultimate goal in writing the letter?

Burn it all down? A middle finger to the world? Maybe he was pissed that Trump didn’t pardon him.

Yeah, I’m relatively skeptical of the Nassar letter. He was jailed by Trump’s DOJ after he appears to have expected that Trump would keep his people at bay, and just run a pretend investigation.

He was about to kill himself.

It certainly could be true but it feels more like an angry lashing out.

How to say there is 100% definitely evidence in the files that implicates Trump in abuse of children with Epstein, without saying there is evidence in the files that implicates Trump in abuse of children with Epstein…

Some of these documents contain untrue and sensationalist claims made against President Trump

Oh great, now they’re going to hang “NO COLLUSION!” signs on the front of all the podiums again.

Well this is interesting. A jailhouse letter mailed right before Epstein offed himself.

I saw that this morning. It’ll be interesting to find out if it’s real. If it is, it sure suggests that he was planning to kill himself (IIRC it was postmarked 3 days before his death). OTOH, if it’s fake, it could be part of covering up a homicide.

If nothing else, it does seem like a final ‘fuck you’ to Trump. But if that was the intention, I’m not sure why he was so vague about it.

I wonder if this would count as a deathbed confession/dying declaration.

The Nassar letter just seems fake to me. Likewise, internet comments are focusing on an accusation that Trump was present while a victim’s father murdered her baby, another salacious accusation that’s almost certainly bogus.

All of this, of course, was the risk of releasing these files. Remember, Biden’s DOJ had all of this for 4 years, you can argue that they were hesitant to go after Trump because of the optics but there are 8 or 9 other “co-conspirators” identified who they also didn’t go after, presumably because they thought they’d lose at trial.

There’s a potential that some peoples’ reputations might be unfairly maligned because of their inclusion in these documents, but I think there’s a lot of people who’s reputations are going to be justly maligned. And that’s all we’re probably going to get out of this whole release. If there was a smoking gun that would lead to a prosecution, then the DOJ (under Biden) already would have moved on it.

There was also a video going around supposedly showing Epstein hanging himself, which turned out to be fake. As noted on the site where I read about it/saw a screenshot, if it was real, it would’ve been released years ago.

In any case, I’m surprised Trump didn’t start releasing huge amounts of fake/AI files. That way, any time he’s asked about something in the Epstein files, he could claim it’s AI, and half the time it would be.

Honestly, I think the letter is too good to be true. And I have trouble believing if it existed that it’s only just now being revealed.

Also posted and then quickly deleted by DOJ this morning;

Which is what i have been saying. Look that letter is embarrassing, but hardly evidence of criminal activity.

That could be criminal evidence, but it appears that woman is now deceased?
