I didn’t read it that way either, but now that I see it from that perspective it’s even creepier now.

Time will tell whether we ever get so see or read what is said, but I’m optimistic that it gets publicly aired.

I absolutely agree.
But it would be fucking epic. Can you imagine the moment when he says, with that twinkle in his eye,
“You want to know what was going on? I’ll tell you…”
But I have to agree that it ain’t going to happen. Bill will likely provide cover for all of the wealthy and powerful that met with Epstein:
“He was very well connected, and so I did meet with him so I could connect to his contacts to benefit my foundation.”
Bill will say he took rides on Epstein’s plane. He might cop to getting a back rub from some nameless girl. But I just can’t see Bill Clinton admitting to anything else.
And I can’t imagine what they expect Hillary to add at all.
They have some Benghazi loose ends to tie up.
Plus they just want to punish her for being Hillary Clinton.
At which point the Republicans immediately change the subject.

…is in reference to the redacted email address in the “From” field. So “the email address will reveal her name” might be better phrased as “the email address would reveal her name if it were shown.”

OR, it would reveal Donald Trump’s name. We can’t discern if that redaction is protecting a “her” name or a “him” name.
We’re starting to see some fallout over the Epstein files. At least politicians are having to acknowledge how depraved some of this is.
I mean, the President of the United States remains virulently hostile to any type of of questioning.
But inch by inch…

Someone just realized why they might not want to force a former president to testify.
And here I was, thinking he was screwing his under-age daughter, a two-fer.
I wonder if Trump is being disingenuous as usual, or this is another situation where he tried to tell Republicans what to do with the Epstein files and is getting pushback.
I think it has to be the former, because they are going after the Clintons specifically, singling them out, and don’t seem to be going after anyone else. This feels like a typical situation where Trump likes to harass people legally by “investigating” them.
I highly doubt any person of any true importance or culpability will be tried or convicted for anything they allegedly did with Epstein. That simply isn’t how the system works. The elite routinely get away with atrocities, abuses and horrors on a scope and scale that makes anything Epstein did look tame. Why would this suddenly be the straw that breaks the camel’s back?
If they can turn whole regions into charnel houses, turn whole nations into slave labor camps, sponsor death squads and torture in dozens of countries, cow any leader that can’t be made into a puppet, hoard enough wealth and resources to give every person in the world a good life twice over and shove civilization deeper into the thresher of climate change and resource depletion for the sake of adding more zeros to already ridiculously large bank accounts, it’s highly unlikely that sex with minors will be what finally brings them to justice. I wish it weren’t true but that’s the nightmare world we live in. Anyone fantasizing otherwise has seen too many Disney films and too much Hunger Games.
RFK Jr. apparently joined Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell for an illegal dinosaur bone hunt in South Dakota.
No word on whether Bobby was planning to eat any dinosaurs they may have found.
