If they’re stacked with him, does that imply that they’ll be going through the portal, too?
One thing that occurs to me, by the way: Most caster specialties, we’ve only seen one of, or none at all. Jeftichew is the only Carneymancer we’ve seen. Wanda is the only Croakamancer. Benjamin is the only Moneymancer, and so on. I don’t think we’ve seen more than one each of any specialty… Aside from Thinkamancers, where we have Maggie, Bunny, all of the Great Minds, and (effectively) Charlie. Is that just coincidence?
We’ve seen references to other Hippiemancers IIRC; Sizemore sleeps with one (Uhura?) in one of the text updates. I’m too lazy to look it up properly.
I’m really surprised at this latest installment. If [del]Jonnis[/del] Janis and Marie (and maybe Sizemore) stack with Parson against the Thinkamancers in order to get Parson through the portal, then war will have come to the previously neutral Magic Kingdom (as predicted). That’s gonna have ripples.
Also: this book is apparently getting wrapped up in six or so more pages. Things are going to move very fast indeed if that’s the case.

One other point I just noticed: In panel 3, Wanda’s eyebook is partially transparent. Is she putting it away in hammerspace?
She’s shrinking it down to its transport size. See Page 33 of Book 1.
it does add a certain urgency to his situation, however, if the portal is in danger of vanishing. Of course, given all the messing around with Slately we readers know that he’ll probably survive the fall of the tower but Wanda and Jack don’t know about that.

huh. Jack messed up Parson’s plans. Wanda messed up Parson’s plans. And I think the issue is going to end before resolving the situation in either the Magic Kingdom or at Jetstone.
Did the portal actually just close, or was that part of Jack’s illusion?
There’s still a bluish portal behind Parson in some of the later panels; for example: when Jack is bowing to him.
And, cripes! Just noticed Ossomer’s livery, yikes.
