Eric Taylor, Houston, Texas-based singer/songwriter, passed away on Monday, March 9th. I know few, if any, board members will be familiar with Eric or his music, but was a part of the Houston music scene for decades. In the 70’s, he married Nanci Griffith, who, along with Lyle Lovett, and others, have covered his songs. Not only a gifted songwriter, but also had a way of performing that could make me shiver on a hot Houston night in the middle of August.
