I synced my iPod Nano (it’s the newest one – whichever generation that is) yesterday, at which time iTunes told me I needed to update the iPod software. I did that, and today, it kept cycling between going to sleep, shutting down, and starting back up, even after I shut it down and set the “hold” button. It was also freezing up periodically. When I plugged it into my computer, the iPod screen said it was connected, but it never mounted or was recognized by iTunes.
I’ve reset it seven or eight times, to no avail. Now it’s shut down and won’t respond at all. Its battery was about 3/4 charged when it started going wacky.
I bought it in December, so it’s still under warranty. Any clues as to what might be happening?
