ESP experiment has me shaking my head...

Are we supposed to read your mind to get the OP ?

If you were psychic, you’d know the answer.

They changed ALL of the cards.

So someone with talents made your head move involuntarily?

Neat!

OK, lets try again.

ESP Experiment

And, BTW SCARLETT67, thanks for giving it away!! That’s some AWESOME ESP you’ve got going for yourself.
Ahem…
It’s not so much the experiment, but after trying it click on the “Explainations” link.
The explainations people came up with are amazing.

Hey, for once I shot and scored.

As for giving it away, well, the first time I saw that trick I nearly fell off my dinosaur.

As an afterthought: hey mods, maybe you could add spoiler tags to my first post in this thread?

That’s about as funny as a screen door on a submarine

My real reason for posting was to point out the explainations. This is what really has me shaking my head

With explanations like that, it’s no wonder people can’t program their vcr’s. I’m just wondering how they figured out email and the web…

I love that page, especially for the submitted explanations. Though I admit, it’s frightening to me that such people walk among us. I find it fascinating to see how little it takes for someone to be willing to revise all of physics to explain one thing.

Telepathine…Quantum mechanics…subliminal suggestion…tracking eyeball movements

I can’t believe people like this exist.

In my OP (the one the hamsters ate) I commented about Mr. Pickover’s books. They look pretty interesting, has anybody read any of them?

Those attempted explanations are hysterical… Look how close this one came before succumbing to bullshit:

Clearly, he noticed that all the cards were being changed, but the proper bell didn’t ring.
