Seriously though, sorry about Piers Morgan. I think I’d feel less guilty if we’d been shipping you nuclear waste hidden inside children’s toys.
Re the Brexit: Personally, I think it would harm the UK economically.
Re the EU: They should drop the Euro, which would encourage intra-member trade which would benefit everybody.
Re Trump going to the UK to appear Presidential: Bring balloons. Please.
I heard the queen threatened to sick the dogs on him.
I would it if the queen had her dogs throw up on Trump.
:smack:
Of course you are free to dismiss and of course he has the freedom of speech. But basically it’s none of his business to say.
Btw I thought Putin was quite classy. He said on the lines that he liked Trump but it’s not about him(Putin), it’s up to the people of America to elect him(Trump) or not (its quite obvious that it’s up to the Americans, still classy that Putin mentioned along with his opinion).
You and Trump seem to be the kind of people who carry the Constitution around with them. To use as toilet paper, apparently.
Yes, when I think Putin, I immediately think “classy”.
I hate to be fair with the asshole, but it seemed clear that, like most Americans, he wasn’t familiar with the term “Brexit” as a name for the whole situation.
Most Americans aren’t attempting to run for POTUS.
And the Republican base matures. An ignorant but charismatic charlatan ran for VP and was justly feared, so now they are doing it for president.
Now if a debate on the Brexit was done with models (skimpily dressed) on both sides, Trump would be right up on it.
So we can go after Nigel Farage, then?
For historical reference -

The OP seemed a bit confused about Trump’s comments. Apparently he thinks it’s OK for Trump to speak and to answer questions put to him by the media outlets, BUT the OP doesn’t want to hear/read what Trump has to say. He’s OK with PM Cameron and London Mayor (Who?) commenting on U.S. issues but not the reverse. Double standard?
Trump was there to re-open a property he owns. I’m sure Trump could talk for hours about many issues other than those which upset the OP. However, the media outlet reporters may chose to ask Trump questions the OP thinks are off limits, or unimportant. I believe the OP should also take his complaint to his local media outlets but only if he’s actually trying to fix his problem.
Let’s compromise and say that Trump should speak on those things he knows something about - in other words hotels, casinos, golf and boobs.
One might legitimately wonder: whence your decision to hold the Prime Minister of Britain to a different standard than yourself?
At least his remarks were on point, and objectively accurate. Unlike yours.
No, I’m not.
No, I just don’t want him coming here and preaching to us about it.
You have me confused with someone else. Nowhere in my OP do I mention those two.
It’s been reported that Trump has changed the date of his UK visit from the day after the referendum to the one before it, which might be an opportunistic means to indulge in some Brexit crowd-baiting. Another swivel-eyed loon to add to the god-forsaken circus of Brexiteer freaks.
*Donald Trump Actually Does Not Know What Brexit Is
by Justin Salhani Jun 1, 2016
In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter published Wednesday morning, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump appeared to be flummoxed by a question about the United Kingdom’s upcoming vote on a potential split from the European Union.
The Reporter’s Michael Wolff asked Trump about Brexit, the shorthand term referring to the UK leaving the European Union, but the candidate had no idea what that was.
“And Brexit? Your position?” I ask.
“Huh?”
“Brexit.”
“Hmm.”
“The Brits leaving the EU,” I prompt, realizing that his lack of familiarity with one of the most pressing issues in Europe is for him no concern nor liability at all.
“Oh yeah, I think they should leave.”*

On June 1st, Trump didn’t know what BRitian EXIT was. Neither was (are?) most of the U.S… It seems Trump isn’t impressed with the EU and thinks the British can do better on their own. (Maybe he sees the economys of Greece and Spain as a burden?) Maybe Trump has more faith in the British people than some of the British political parties do?
You’ll notice that the media introduced Trump to BREXIT and not the other way around. Just because Justin Salhani is interested in BREXIT, doesn’t mean Americans, or American politicians, are. IOW, Trump wouldn’t be looking to indulge in some Brexit crowd-baiting on a subject he wasn’t aware of.
Trump is looking to reopen one of his properties. My guess is that this is another clear cut case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that demands Trump be blamed for talking/not talking/indulging in/not being aware of/blah-blah-blah anything and everything.
Trump is scheduled to visit the UK on June 24 — just one day after the United Kingdom votes on whether it will stay in the EU or not. Cameron recently said he would welcome Trump…
What I find amazing is that while polls show a majority are in favor of the split, many are unaware of what position their political party holds. Maybe if the local media chose to more often associate Trump’s name with BREXIT, more of their readers will chose to pay closer attention to what they write about the various party’s positions?
*UK voters are leaning toward an exit from the EU, according to a recent poll by the Guardian, which found a 52-48 split in favor of leaving. Both Cameron and his opposition in the Labour party support staying in Europe — but the Guardian found that many Labour party members are still unclear of this stance.
“A campaign memo from Britain Stronger In Europe leaked to the Guardian shows that only about half of Labour voters have realised their party is in favour of staying in the EU, with the rest thinking it is split or believing it is a party of Brexit,” the Guardian reported Monday.*
False equivalency. It may be your vote but the consequences of US presidential elections are global, with the potential for severe impacts on other countries and the world in general.
It’s amusing to get a live specimen right here in the lab for closer examination, but clinical studies of the Trump supporter tend to be pretty boring because they’re all pretty much the same, and don’t usually have enough brain cells to allow meaningful psychoanalytic distinctions to be made.
If this forum is anything to go by, Trump supporters have more respect for others and less ego.
