Just watched the whole season up to the present on demand. Why did they launch when every single test they did on every single previous episode went wrong? I’m not exaggerating. Every single Titan mission test and/or project went either stupidly or horribly wrong and yet they took off anyway. And were surprised when something went wrong.
Who sings the acoustic version of Rocket Man?
Of course this has got to be the last season. Half the cast took off for Jupiter and won’t be back for two years.
How many times does Carter have to learn that machines are people too with feelings and sexual yearnings just like him?
They were actually going to Saturn’s moon, Titan, not Jupiter. And they utilized a FTL reactor that would get them there almost instantaneously. At most, they only expected to be away from Earth for only six months. Of course, the mission went kerflooey, but it seems more like sabotage than accidental. I’m betting on Beverly Barlowe and the Consortium again. And Eureka will be back next year with a fifth season of 12 episodes which is now already in production.
Already done with production. These last episodes are over a year old.
That the Consortium is responsible is a given.
The reason they launched not matter what was Congressional pressure. The Senator was leaning on them heavily, saying in no uncertain terms that they would lose all funding if they didn’t launch on time. I wouldn’t be at all surprised to find out that she was in on it from the beginning.
