Ah, the most famous 07/07/07 marriage on the planet. Which really does beg the question:
Will it last 07 weeks, 07 months, or 07 years?
I asked my wife that this weekend, and, always the romatic, she said 7 years. Less optimistic, I said 7 months.
18 months after Desperate Housewives is cancelled.

So probably not too terribly long.
Popping into this thread to snark that, why the hell has this event become such a media cause celebre, and, consequently, to post my prediction of 18 months.

From what I have gathered from people who have had contact with them, and the one time I met them (San Antonio isn’t that big a town), they are pretty down to earth people. In public, Tony Parker acts like a big well behaved kid, Eva appears to take on somewhat of a maternal role. From what I have read, The Spurs are more family oriented than other teams and have wives and kids involved whenever they can. I think that they have as good a chance as your average couple.

On the off chance that it doesn’t work out, I’d like to let her know that my wife and I both think she’s smoking hot and we offer our services to console and comfort her in her deepest, darkest hours.
I heard the original rumors about the 7/7/07 date, but hadn’t been paying much attention since then. And I have been successfully avoiding the tabloids and the TV entertainment shows. But I was flipping past E! and stopped to hear Ryan Seacrest dishing the dirt about the wedding. “And they shared a lovely kiss and we were all so jealous of him getting to kiss her.” Sure, Ryan.
Anyhoo, she does seem pretty down to earth but he is so young. I give it two years and one baby.
I want to be the wedge between them. I could use an Eva.

I have lived in San Antonio all my life, and yeah, it’s pretty large! I don’t want to give a guess on how long Tony and Eva will be married, but I hope they have a long and happy marriage. They are such a sweet couple and they complement each other perfectly. I agree with the fact that the Spurs are very family oriented, I think that is one contributing reason why our team stands out from the other NBA teams.
Isn’t it Tony Parker’s marriage too? :dubious: 
I think it will be a lasting marriage. I have nothing to base it on other than positive vibes that they both seem to give off.
I thought the same thing about Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, though, so what do I know?
