Even If It Is Christmas We Must Have A MMP!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 38 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 53 and N.O.S. for the day. Winter is back I reckon. Today I shall go feast with JDD, Partner, and assorted others. I think there will be eight of us. We shall also go to Dawson to see Miss Becky this afternoon. Thus I shall have adult supervision and activities to keep me outta trouble. I have cheese ring, cream cheese with pepper jelly, fancy crackers, oj and champagne all ready to take over to JDD’s and Partners place around eleven this mornin’. Go Me. I hope those amongst us who celebrate have a great day with family, friends, etc.

Christmas Mass was very beautiful and well attended. I got home right at one a.m. I do not know the last time I stayed up until one a.m.! I am such an Olde Pharte.

Everyone travelin’ today be safe!

Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then I suppose I should purtify bein’ as I am to be out and about the public today.

Merry Christmas!!!

Yeah, I stole it from doggie. What of it! :stuck_out_tongue:

Happy Moanday Y’all! Hijack away!

First! (after some prodding)

I forgot it’s Monday or I’d have started us off. Merry Christmas again!!

Merry Christmas!

RT is home and his boys should be here sometime this afternoon. His niece and her boyfriend are coming tomorrow and we’all have our ‘official’ Christmas dinner then.

Otherwise, just trying to enjoy the snow and the time off.

Merry Christmas! We got about 2-3 in he’s of snow yesterday for a white Christmas. However, the temps will plunge into the single digits. Whatever. This is winter in no. Illinois. Going to the steakhouse with my Jewish friends for late lunch/early dinner, then home for pjs and sloth. Had dinner last night with my friends. Roast beast, Christmas crackers, and 3 games of Clue. I lost all 3 games.

Merry Christmas!

I’m having a leisurely breakfast of aigs Florentine and cranberry blood orange tea before purtifying to go to SIL’s to go out for Chinese with the family. I’ll land at home long enough to make phone calls and play a game of fetch before heading to Nashville to serve dinner.

0717, and I’ve been up for severn minutes. The coffee is just finishing, and the furnace kicked on right after I typed ‘furnace’. (I turn it to minimum at night.) It’s 28º, and the Sun should rise in about 43 minutes.

Happy Christmas, Everyone!

Merry Christmas everyone.

We have a white Christmas; a rarity here in the PNW Puget Sound region. It started snowing late yesterday afternoon and tapered off. It must have snowed a little more overnight and right now it’s snowing gangbusters.

I wouldn’t mind so much except that my daughter and son-in-law live on a steep hill and have a car that doesn’t handle well in snow, much less ice. I’m hoping their city cleared the hill so that they can make it here for our usual Christmas celebration.

No snow up here in Birch Bay, except for the dusting we got a week and a half ago. It still hasn’t melted, and is just an icy white crust on the deck and lawn. Weather radar shows snow in Chilliwack, and some in Abbotsford, and it shows Bellingham got some snow. But it missed us.

You’re pretty far north,** Johnny**. They said on the news the dry air and cold wind coming down from Fraser Valley might prevent you folks from up North getting any snow. I guess because the air is so dry, the snow sublimates; turns into gas instead of rain or snow flakes.

I’m down here southeast of Seattle. Still coming down gangbusters here.

Earlier in the week, the forecast called for a white Christmas down in Albany, Orygun, but it looks like that has not come to pass.

Note for everyone, do not have surgery a week before Christmas and expect to take it easy. I have abused my poor body. I am exhausted and hurt-y. I don’t think the antibiotics are working either. I see the doc in 2 days. I’m trying to take it easy, which currently makes me that relative who hides in her room when relatives come over. On the other hand, I got a box of See’s Candy yesterday to keep me company.

This Summer we are hoping to go on our Yellowstone trip. I’ve got the month identified, July. The parks, Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Glacier, and possibly Banff. The travelers, my family, my sister and her family, so we’ll caravan. One RV, some tents. Time to start putting together an itinerary.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Same here in Bellevue. It started yesterday evening and I think has been mostly going on until about now. Quite a decent covering, really pretty. Our house is set back quite far from the street and the driveway is a non-negligible slope, so we had some difficulty getting a car up to the street this morning. Trying to shovel snow with a regular metal shovel is not fun.

I went back and looked at last week’s MMP to see all of the missed message. One comment in particular stood out:

I share this sentiment. Every day is brighter and warmer because of you. Happy Holidays to each and every one of you!

What is “snow”?

Merry Christmas! No snow, yay, I don’t like it a bit. It’s a gorgeous day with a clear blue sky but so windy! I hope everyone enjoys the day!

Our Bellevue didn’t get so much or pretty; we got a light coat of the really wet snow. Oh – and

Merry Christmas!
everyone. We’re celebrating a traditional Christmas today; ham for dinner and a Godzilla Movie Marathon. I saw Godzilla vs. Biollante which somehow I have managed to miss for all these years. That lack has been properly corrected.

Water from the sky with a thyroid condition.

It did snow a little bit. Not enough to tell, really.

I wish that I had an excuse.

Howdy Y’all! I am back at da cave after festivatin’ at JDD and Partner’s home. A good time was had by all but I am glad to be home and in sweat pants, tshirt and my robe. Hope everyone else is havin’ a good day. Sloth now ensues.

Home from the armpit.

It was actually nice this year. Lots of noise though.
I got the oldest grand nephew a drone and that was a big hit with everybody.

Ripple behaved himself, although he started getting a bit restless on the drive home.
He’s wiped out and so am I, so I’m going to take a nap.
