Ever fall in love with a cartoon character?

1 vote for Jessica Rabbit.

I used to have a crush on Gaiman’s Death, and I’m sure that crush would be revived should I reread the comics (is there anyone who’ve read those comics without getting a crush on her?). Another comic character I had a crush on was Molly O’Reilly from the Books of Magic, though I don’t believe that crush would resurface on a reread - or, at least, I’d feel like a pedophile if it did :).

I’t is not bed when enyone love you example i love toph bei fong (avatar the last airbender)

Not sure why this thread suddenly got exhumed from the zombie graveyard, but what’s done is done . . .

I see several votes already for Jessica Rabbit. Not too bad, but my cartoon (or puppet) heartthrob babes are…

Miss Piggy.
Peg, the Lhaso Apso who sang “He’s A Tramp” in Lady And The Tramp. !!! (Sung by Peggy Lee!) Just look that up on You-Tube, and you can find several clips showing it, including one of the studio recording session with Peggy Lee and the singers who did the howling dog voices, narrated by Walt Disney.

I can’t believe I no one has posted this one!

April the news reporter from “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” !

I could see Li Shang and I…training…together.

Kimba the White Lion was my first crush - age 5ish, so not only a cartoon, but wrong species.

I’m finding that this thread had probably faded into the background just before I started posting at SDMB. It’s surely one that I would have chosen to post to. There’s probably another thread from later days that I did post to, whether the topic was as directly related or not.

I fell in love with a character on the old Kerry Drake strip by the name of Champagne and I have been trying – off and on with no success – to find her online. So far, one or two others have remembered enough about her to confirm that I was (as a child of preteen age) justified in my lust for her.

Does her name or the old strip click in anybody else’s memory?

ETA: Found that old thread (or at least one of them):

An Extremely Arcane Request

Ah, Flynn (Eugene) Rider from Tangled, the first cartoon character I’ve ever found so attractive, I discussed it openly at work without shame. And other women agreed with me.

Second place would go to Simbad from Simbad and the Legend of the Seven Seas - cute, adventurous, bad boy, and very sensual for a cartoon character.

Rounding out the top three would be Dean from the Iron Giant, who’s the most like a man I would want to end up with in real life - creative, kind hearted, good with kids, and just a touch irresponsible.

Indulging in the bi side of things, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy from Batman: The Animated Series. Together.

I think Stan Smith is rather handsome

Jin from Samurai Champloo.

Gren from Cowboy Bebop.

And, apparantly, my Operative from SW:ToR, named Case. :stuck_out_tongue:
Why yes, I do have a thing for males with shoulder-length, straight and dark hair. Glasses also help. As does being a broody mother&*cker, apparantly.

His girlfriend, Kitty, was also mighty damn cute!

I confess to having a terrible, foolish, stupid love for Marvel Comics’ Spiral. Oh, Lordy, them arms…

(Well, doesn’t the 2nd Amendment guarantee the right?)

Love? No. Lust? Plenty…

Lesse here. Sticking purely to animated characters, comics don’t count. In no particular order:

Nani, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Jessica Rabbit and Kim Possible all from Disney.

Cheetara from thundercarts, Velma from scooby-doo, Ryoko, Faye Valentine, Rouge, Raven, Miss Martian, April O’neil, I’m sure there’s plenty more…

Nine years later my answer is still Daria, and Jane too.

I definitely have lustful thoughts about Leela and Amy from Futurama.

Rogue, from the X-Men cartoon from the late 90’s. The no touching thing would be a problem, but we’d work something out.

If you’re including video games as well as cartoons, the list grows significantly.

For me, it was the voice that was sexy and not the drawn artwork. There was one voice that when I heard it, I kept thinking “There’s a voice actress playing that part. Please be my age, please be my age!”. Because the character as drawn & played was way too young.

But I always wondered what Ashley Spinelli would have been like in college…

burns from the simpsons. somethings wrong:smack:
