I surf porn a bit. A little while ago, I clicked a link and there’s a website, run by a gal. Amateur stuff, home webcam type. She gives her name, and her town name.
My town name. Now, my town isn’t that big. 22,000 total perhaps. Take away minors and elderly and consider only women, roughly her age ( around 40 ) and the numbers shrink down. I’ve stood at Blockbuster in line with her? I’ve been in the deli department at the supermarket talking to her?
I’m wondering why this is raising my eyebrows up so much. It is, and that fact is more interesting to me than anything on her website ( which was pretty run of the mill nudie shots alone ).
School orientation night is this week for Middle School and next week for High School. Gonna be tough not to stare at her if I realize it’s her. If she hadn’t announced her town name, I never would have remembered what she looked like well enough to see her in public and have it click.
No, I wouldn’t ever say anything or approach her. I’d never put someone in such a position, even if they’re the one who put themselves out on the Internet. To me, I guess the eyebrow raise has a lot more to do with the self-stripping of anonymity that one expects on the Internet than it does with the idea that someone in my town would be posting pictures of themselves to their own porn website.
Hmmmmmm. I’m not turned on but I’m intrigued at my own reaction. Probably not the response she expects from visitors !!
No, I won’t link the site. It’s irrelevant and besides, then it’d announce where I live.
I just shared this story with a friend, who asked to see the link.
The link rose up on their desktop, and it said, “Hi, I’m Patsy and I live in Friend’s Town, USA”.
The website keys the opening line to the IP Address of the person surfing the site.
I am laughing so damned hard. No idea such a thing was possible, but I sure appreciate the hilarity. Every guy who sees this kind of site must think what I thought ( unless they’re remarkably Internet software savvy ).
Being completely Internet naive, I don’t understand the implications of this - if you get a chance, please fill me in. Otherwise, yeah, I am struck by how folks seem to not understand that the Internet means anyone who takes the time to look can see your stuff…I try to be careful and assume that anything I do on the Internet is fair game for public consumption…
I think it’s personalizing the website to make it seem more “exciting” that you might see someone nekkid that is from your area (right, Cartooniverse?)
As to the OP, way back in the day, when I was an innocent teen, I worked as a night manager for a chain of convenience stores. One afternoon I’m at a store in Pinellas Park, FL, minding my own business, when a woman comes in very excited: "Is the new Hustler in? I’m going to be in the “Girls Next Door”, or whatever the amateur shots in Hustler was called. She bought her copy and left.
I was a little stunned, but after she left of course I had to break the seal on one of the Hustler’s and take a look. Sho’nuff, there she was in all her glory. Since I was eighteen or so and she was in her early thirties she seemed a bit old to me, not to mention a tad sleazy, but it still played into a lot of late evening, boredom related fantasies later on.
Several years ago, when the Web was new to most, a co-worker and I were discussing porn sites. We both preferred the amateur sites and I told him about a free one that I enjoyed where people sent in pictures to be displayed. A couple of weeks later he asked me if I had checked out the site lately and gave me a wink. When I got home I looked and found several shots of his very attractive wife.
A girl that lived in my neighborhood and went to school with me is now a porn star in LA. I never found her attractive at all. She had no breasts, had stubby little legs, and had a fairly plain face. She was a bit of a tomboy and even played on the football team in Jr. High and freshman year. Most of her time was spent in a cast.
A friend of my wife’s (who went to my high school too) told us about the site so as soon as we got home we looked it up. Although she did look a little bit better than before, especially with new breasts, it was just so hilarious to see her in porn poses. The best thing about the site was the “sexy” introduction she gives in a Texas drawl, which is made funnier by the fact she didn’t have one when we knew her. Last I heard she was in a three-way relationship with Jessica Drake and her husband.
A girl I went to high school with wrote a few articles for Playboy (about sex toys, I believe), but I don’t think she ever posed. That’s as close as I’ve come.
I’m not sure if this counts, but my girlfriend is related (somewhat distantly) to fitness-guru Kiana Tom (work safe, but just barely). I’ve never met her, but my girlfriend has run into her at family reunions and such. Knowing who she was, I was a bit surprised a couple of years back to find her on the cover of Playboy.
I’ve asked this question before and never gotten a good answer: what does one do when they find out your ex is in porno? Do you run out and buy the video/magazine, or not?
I was shown the movie in question…about halfway into foreplay. Well, all I did was ask when the last time he was tested for STDs was. I was ready to get dressed and leave if it wasnt recently. He pulled it out of his desk and was clear as of less than a month previous [the movie had been about 2 years old] He had done it when he was stationed in San Diego, he had seen an ad for males for making occasional porn movies in a local strip club and answered it. Said it was rather boring all things considered. Made him a couple hundred dollars, but he said that you spend more time in funky positions that aren’t comfortable, trying to stay hard and photogenic, and release more or less on command that he would have had more fun masturbating. :dubious:
I always though most men were of the opinion that any sex [involving a second person] is alway better than tossing off…
A former student of Mrs. Blue Sky has her own site. According to the site, she’s been a cover model for various fitness, lingerie, and swimwear magazines. If you subscribe to her site, you get to see more. Based on what I’ve seen on the guest part of the site, there ain’t a whole lot more to see.
One of my high school teachers was in Playboy back in the '70s. (I went to high school late eighties, early nineties.)
The worst part of it was that all the students knew, but I refused to believe it. Urban legend, I scoffed.
So a guy from my algebra class brought in the issue. Yep. It was her. Wearing nothin’ but those idiotic pink-tinted glasses which she still wore to class every day.
You mean besides the pics of my ex-boyfriend I uploaded to a bunch of those ex-boyfriend revenge sites?
I kid, I kid, it was just the one site.
I kid! I never uploaded his pictures anywhere. But I sure thought about it…
As far as actual people I know on porn sites, it’s limited to people who were already involved in porn professionally or semi-professionally by the time I knew them.
Voyeur web is an excellent guess! I told him about two sites that day and that was one of them. Her pictures ended up on the other site. Voyeur web is still around and just as good as always. The other one is no more but it was run by “davic” if that rings any bells.
