It looks like they’re going to have a dojo ranking system…so let’s gets some Monster Island recruiting going guys…the SDMB will dominate the competition!!! Our KungFu is very strong!
I’m in, as dewt. I dunno how a dojo applies to this game. And I’m not sure of the difference between a kick and punch either… but what the heck… I’m going to challenge a yellow… must… get… only 4… more experience points… must get…

The difference between punches and kicks? The picture changes in the fight screen.
Seems like its all direction though it sometimes seems like punches do more damage than kicks and vice versa. Its all pretty random.

I too have joined the dojo. I started out good, as in 3 wins, then I proced to have my ass beat. I tried to challenge the top guy just for the fun of it and got my ass really kicked!
Yep. I did that too. One kick for 18 damage killed me. I’ll have to wait to avenge my master. I don’t like how most people don’t say anything when they attack. I always say something stupid for fun.
Ok, i’m SoulSling, and I’m an orange belt now, and I’ve discovered the real secret to gaining rank. Fight a hell of a lot!
Really, the Online help explains it, that you win more exp. and lose less. And as you gain rank, you gain HP and your kicks and punches are worth more, so the lesser ranks don’t have as much chance of beating you, but it doesn’t matter if you defeat someone higher in rank than you, because either way, you still gain or lose exp. the same. Higher ranking fighters have a better chance at defeating you because they can with one punch or kick whereas you need to win all three rounds in the fight to beat them.
Just fight a lot, and you’ll end up gaining rank. I don’t give myself any style, i fight randomly, so no one can guess my moves. It’s worked so far. I’ll be joining monster Island next time i’m on.

oh, how do you get your pic to stay up there? mine keeps not loading well.
This guy really needs to get a new server, I’ve convinced other people to start playing as well. At work, at home, online…
Now I can’t get in 
soulsling is right, the key is to just be active as hell, and fight, fight, fight!!! If you have problems getting onto the server because it’s reached the maximum load, you can just keep reloading the page that says “Currently too many people playing on the poor p2-266. Try again in a few minutes.” and after a short while (a minute or two), you can usually get in as somebody drops out. It works for me every time!!! 
You have to link to a picture on the web, and then they just pull the image from whever it’s stored on the net. If you’re trying to use an image from your desktop, it’s not gonna work right, so look for something on the web, or if you have file storage somewhere on the internet, upload the image there and then link to it from your settings.

Ok, the Server has been updated, so now we can join up to 1000 something…
In the process, I lost 160 exp somehow, and the Dojo is gone… If it isn’t remade, I’ll just remake Monster Island/cornjob
took me 20 minutes to get that 160 exp. man!
ahhhhh, that would explain it. I’m going to ditch my dojo, danger Dewt’s dirty dojo, and join monster Island.
I’m yellow now, but for some reason I can’t seem to win a fight. I expect to earn my white belt within the next coupla fights.
