Everyone knows what the "33" means on the Rolling Rock bottles.....

But what’s the “800” in Olde English Brand “800” represent? I had thought O.E. was a product of the Pabst Brewing Company but they don’t list it on their website.

This is another question about the number ‘33’ on the rolling rock beer bottles. would this have something to do with the masonic lodge and them unknowingly being a front for the mythical ‘illuminati’ society? Or could it somehow or someway be connected to the masonic lodge by also the"33rd degree mason?" Help me out here; new to this and to how it works.

The Master Speaks

What about Coqui 900 or Steel Reserve 211?

Canada has Labatt 50.

flacomalo: Drinking Rolling Rock will turn you into a mindless slave of your Friendly Neighborhood Illuminati Masters. If you’re lucky, you’ll end up a drunken fool oblivious to the Master Plan for the World. If you’re unlucky, you’ll become a genetic engineering project waiting for the One Who Dreams in R’lyeh to awaken and consume the world.

Or, not.

Mad Dog 20/20 ?

Colt 45?

7 Up?

Segrams 7?

Calibre

Supposedly seven flavours.

Probably named the same way as VAT69, i.e. nth attempt at blending.
Now, do you have anything substantial to add to the OP?

Yeah WD40 was “water displacement 40th attempt”.

As far Olde English 800, well I just spent 15 minutes googling and only came up with some Icy Hot Stuntaz type sites.

I guess those 16 year old suburban gangstas gotta get their 40 dog on.

O.E. 800 seems to be a product of the Miller brewing company but they don’t have a link to any further information on it. They do have an option to ask Miller brewing from their home page. Might be worth an effort. One word of warning, you must be 21 to enter their site.

Cheez, did I run over your dog or something?

How about formula 409?

Hawaii 5-0?
Alberto VO5?
Levi’s 501s?

Malt liquors, as opposed to beer, always seem to have a number in the brand name.

‘33’ is Rolling Rock lore, not part of the proper name.

So the question becomes, why numbers in any malt liquor name?

Well apparently it’s the calibre according to Popup.

Hawaii 50 is because Hwaii is the 50th state. Thats all I know.

“oh weee” as we like to call it, is now under the Miller Brewing flag. They bought it when they got Pabst. I called their information line and they said there was no significance to the 800, it was just a name. Go figure.

Alberto - Invented by a chemist called Alberto
VO5 - Vital Organics Five (the five vital organic moisturisers in the conditioner).
