The system default is to have them on; we should have them back off shortly.

You can find out the list of enhancements for newer versions (we went from 1.1.0 to 1.1.3) in the vBulletin Announcements forum of the vBulletin Community Forum.
Look for threads that mention the release of a version. You would get a complete list by looking for enhancements to all versions since 1.1.0.
