So, I’m scrolling through the TV guide online and I see that the Law & Order movie’s on right now. I went ahead and clicked to read the synopsis. Said synopsis mentions that Logan was last seen in the show when he got demoted for slugging some corrupt politician. In which episode did that occur?
The last episode of season five, “Pride”, about the murder of a gay city council member.
IIRC, he was killed by another council member who spouted vile anti-gay rhetoric. The murderer gets off and is very smarmy about it, and Logan throws a punch at him outside on the courthouse steps. Not because he was a murderer or a homophobe, though, but because he made Logan look foolish during the trial. This is at the very end of the episode, after which Kincaid wonders what will happen to Logan. McCoy supposes he’ll get “five to ten walking a beat on Staten Island”, and then we fade to black. That turns out to be what did happen, according to the TV movie.
The first episode of season six then introduces Curtis.
Thanks!
