Unlike the “Jews” comment it was really obviously a joke, and I’m not aware of any tragic historical epidemic of parents who murdered their children for learning about the Easter Bunny. Compared to calling Jews “vermin” this seems like an incredibly mundane joke. I understand that what constitutes “offensive” is subjective, and all, but it doesn’t strike me, personally, as being in any way shocking, edgy, or tasteless.
