Explosions at Boston Marathon

I’m familiar with the questions about whether or not Glen Beck raped and murder a young girl in 1990, but I had not heard that he is bin Laden’s son. Well, if it’s not true I’m sure he’ll offer up some proof.

The prosecution has so much evidence that it doesn’t matter if his statements get thrown out or not. They’ve got videotape of him placing the backpack. They’ve got the eyewitness to the carjacking. They’ve got the testimony of all the cops that he shot at.

At this point all they care about is finding out if anyone else was in on it, and learning if there are any more explosives hidden in a storage unit somewhere.

Well there is of sorts. 2 women were seen getting into a “consulate” vehicle (presumably Saudi) and one man was deported. If the person I quoted above is accurate then the Saudi’s don’t like the publicity of deportations.

Lets say for the sake of argument that’s true, it backfires if it occurs during an event such as this. People start asking who they were and why they’re leaving. The response to Congressman Duncan from Napolitano was parsed in such a way as to suggest no deportations occurred.

There is something missing from this terror-bombing event.

Nobody posted a reason.

Here is an eyewitness account of the shootout and Bomber #1 getting run over by his brother Friday morning.

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/04/22/hear-the-incredible-account-of-an-eyewitness-who-saw-the-boston-bomb-suspect-running-over-and-dragging-his-own-brother-to-escape/

She said there were no deportations related to the bombings.

I don’t know what this means.

I think it means that we don’t yet have good evidence of the motive.

It appears the older brother (at least) had connections to radical elements in Chechnya and/or Dagestan, which had caused him to come to the attention of the FBI. This allows speculation about the motive, but is very far from a complete picture.

No one claimed responsibility, nor announced why the explosives were set off.

“Al Nutcase struck against the Great Satan in the heart of their great city…” blah, blah, blah.

We don’t have very much, no. There’s enough to suggest it’s religious terrorism motivated by what’s going on in Chechnya, but that’s about it.

It sounds like there’s nobody to take credit except the Tsarnaevs, and who knows what the hell they were thinking - maybe they planned to take credit later, or maybe they noticed that people who take credit for bombings get targeted and caught or killed.

Piling on to this account, this blog entry with multiple pictures, purports to be from a occupant of a house that was right next to the brothers during the gunfight. Not sure I’d climb “to distance myself a little further away from the gunfire”—putting something large and metallic between me and the shooting seems more prudent—but still, great pictures.

Apologies if this has already been posted elsewhere in the thread.

The New York Times has posted a motive.

Does anyone know the provenance of this image, dated April 15, which is doing the rounds on Twitter? Earliest I have seen it appear is April 19, so the date on it may well be fake.

Looks like someone trolling 4chan.org

Yes but she said it in a way as to infer no deportations.

quote: “I am unaware of anyone who is being deported for national security concerns at all related to Boston. I don’t know where that rumor came from,”

“Like I said, again I don’t even think he was technically a person of interest or a suspect, that was a wash. And I am unaware of any proceeding there, I will clarify that for you, but I think this is an example of why it is so important to let law enforcement to do its job,”

Don’t you think it’s a bit odd that someone would be questioned as a result of an investigation and deported? Particularly in light of the current political atmosphere of amnesty for illegal immigrants.

I saw many images like that one on the 15th. They were all over the place on Reddit and Twitter. As far as the post accompanying the imagine…

No, I can’t say I do. I don’t find her wording ambiguous or misleading either. If they questioned someone who had nothing to do with the bombings and deported him because (say) his visa had expired, who cares?

That’s pretty incredible. Here’s the spot on Street View. The pics must have been taken from the three-storey house opposite.

By “image” I meant the screenshot of the post, dated 4/15, not the photograph itself, obviously.

Does anyone know what will happen to Tamerlan’s body? Do authorities preserve it beyond a normal period of time as, for lack of a better term, part of the crime scene evidence? When they do release it to the family, will they simply make it avaliable here or will he be transported to Dagestan, or wherever his parents reside now?

He’s evidently got a wife in RI, or maybe it’s that she’s staying with her folks in RI.

But this brings up another point. When they killed OBL, a big deal was made to get him buried, even at sea, within a certain time frame observed by Muslims. This guy’s a Muslim, too, but all that cultural sensitivity seems to have gone out the window here.
