I can’t even come up with anything more eloquent than the title.
What the fuck?
Stupid, ignorant psychopath(s).
I’ll be very surprised if this isn’t some horribly conceived “tax day protest”.
This is some fucked up shit right here.

Whatever sick fuck individual or group did this, I’ll lay odds that 1 year from now, 20% of Americans will remember it as “Muslim terrorists”. Double this if Fox News plants the seed early and repeats it often enough.
Well, they did promise us “second amendment remedies”.
Couldn’t we wait until we find out who it is so we can use the appropriate slurs? It’s really hard to spew hatred at someone unidentified. I don’t know if I should be insulting their religion or their politics.
Crap, a third explosion at the library.
Anyway, if I’m going to go all medieval batshit crazy on these guys I want to know who they are first.
This will be very interesting, if true:
If indeed this is a Saudi national who did this - I don’t think it will go well for that country. People seem to have forgotten who the men were who did 9/11. This will remind them which country they came from.
If it is not, and this is a false lead… Well then it will be interesting to see who screwed up the reporting.
I wonder if he’s a suspect just because he’s a Saudi national.
Nobody else is reporting that. Maybe Murdoch’s people are trying to, um, “shape public opinion” in their usual way?
Boston is, for the moment at least, [a no-fly zone.
Well, it does make a more compelling headline compared with “Brown Foreign looking man Among the Injured”
I’d be surprised if it was anything other than right-wing domestic terrorism. I mean, when you make your general graph of foreign/domestic, left-wing/right-wing terrorism the only two obvious choices right now are right-wing foreign and right-wing domestic. This, while apparently rather ambitious if there were multiple devices planted, doesn’t feel foreign to me. What it does feel like is right-wing domestic, especially with the timing. You have: Tax day, Patriots day, and the week of the 20th anniversary of Waco along with what we know so far about how it was done. I could be wrong, but if you asked me right now to put down money, that’s the way I’d bet.
That’s a common ATC action when there are a lot of emergency aircraft in an area (police, firefighting, Coast Guard ops, whatever). Pretty sure that radius lets Logan operate.
Yeah, they note now that commercial flights would be well above the 3000’ limit if they happened to cross the restricted zone.
Current reports seem to be backing away from this being related. It may have just been an unrelated fire.
Like 9/11, this will probably take some time to sift through to find the reality.
Bugger! What a way to learn of a breaking headline! The Pit scoops 'em all!
As pointed out in the other thread, Boston Police Say NY Post is Full of Crap
My first WAG is domestic terrorism.
Which is horribly sad.
Other than your pathetic grasping to find another emotional tragedy to exploit to push your spiteful political agenda, what does this have to do with the 2nd amendment?
No doubt. Everything is speculation at the moment. We might get false claims of responsibility, and specious accusations as well. I expect anything can happen at this point.
Well, it is Boston. Maybe somebody felt that their 3rd Amendment rights were being violated.
You should be asking that of the people threatening the use of it.
