OK. . .I’m extremely bored. I need to get a job. Can’t get a job if I don’t have transportation. Can’t get transportation if I don’t have money. Can’t get money if I don’t have a job. Not good. Anyone have any tips?
Background info: I’m 16, male, and live in a tiny town where I’ve already applied at the (only) grocery store, and asked everywhere else.
So. . .how can I get some money?
Will you come shampoo my carpets while I surf??? Diane understands, huh??
Damn, what do kids in tiny towns do for money?
Mow lawns? Babysit? Walk dogs? Too early for detassling or bean walking or strawberry picking.
We used to steal bottles from behind grocery stores and turn them in for the deposit. Sometimes we’d take them to the same grocery store. That little spurt of entrepreneurialism didn’t last long.
Also, I’m into writing and photography, but it seems as if the local newspaper doesn’t want “little kids” on their staff. Any other ways I could use those??? And, Pam , I’m trying to make serious money (for a car and college) and start a resume. I’d like to get a job with an actual company.
