Eyelid bump

I have a small flesh colored bump that can be seen on the the inside edge of the far corner of the eye (lateral canthus) when you pull the eye lid away from the eye horizontally. It is like where the top and lower eye lid connect, there is a small bump on the inside edge. It can only be seen when I pull my eye lid back and only with a hand held magnified mirror. I imagine it’s normal since I have it on the other eye too, although it is a little smaller. I have also been to the ophthalmologist recently and they did not mention anything other than dry eye which I have. The bump area seems to get irritated from time to time. I am wondering if anyone knows what this bump is called?

I don’t know what’s causing your bump, but I have a home remedy (from my grandmother) that has always worked for me. YMMV, but the remedy won’t hurt you.

Rub the bump gently with a gold ring. Silver works for me as well, but grandma’s remedy called for gold.

Rub a couple of times a day for a week or so. My bumps have always disappeared within a couple of days,

If it’s what I’m thinking, it’s probably a clogged pore. I get those on occasion (one at time on either upper or lower lid). And before my LASIK my optometrist told me I had clogged pores around the eyes and should use a hot compress. Like all these people, I scrape them off. I also have dry eye.

Edit, re-read your message. Didn’t realize it was at both eyes. Probably not this, then.
