Fable II Instructions.....

… for the first quest - finding the warrants.

How do you pick up something with the controller? I don’t see that in the booklet.

Thanks

Q

When you get close to a warrant on the ground you should see an “A” with a circle around it appear, indicating that you can push the “A” button to pick it up.

Thank you, your Highness!

From what little I have played the XBox, I have decided I don’t like shooting games, but maybe I’m not giving them a decent chance.

This game is close to my beloved WoW, so it’s a good one to practice my nimbleness (?) with.

Would anyone be willing to recommend some others in that genre?

Thanks

Q

Action-RPGs? Well, there’s Oblivion, Darksiders and Batman: Arkham Asylum. All of those are pretty great games. Or were you talking about shooters?

Games that don’t yell at you to shoot something within a specified time. I don’t “handle” those too well. Also, I think a major part of my problem is the difference in the mouse and that multi-function hand-held control, which is why I wrote that maybe I’m not giving the game a fair chance.

A game based solely on shooting wouldn’t be one I’d enjoy playing though, Gukumatz.

I hope I’m answering your question correctly.

Thanks

Q

The games I mentioned are RPGs with fighting in them. Timing’s still important, but in most cases it’s more about having a rhythm than exercizing your twitch reflexes. (For instance, in Batman, the best way to fight is to move fluidly between opponents, which requires you to time your attacks. But if you miss a beat - like I do, all the time - it doesn’t punish you, it just means you’ll have to work a little extra. With the health upgrades, it’s pretty forgiving.)
