I just found out that not everything I post as comments on other’s posts actually registers with them. This is occuring with recipients of my intended remarks across the Atlantic in Europe. It appears on my News Feed as having been completely posted, but when I check back or refresh, my comment has disappeared. I just discovered the problem and I have no idea how far back it goes. It might explain some of the lack of responses to my witticisms.
That’s just fucking wrong to fail and mislead me like that.
Is it happening with just one friend, or lots? Any particular kind of comment?
(I ask because the recipient could just be deleting them for some reason)
No, there are about half a dozen people who are my friends out there in Holland. When I post now, I immediately refresh the page to check. Sometimes my comment sticks. Most of the time it doesn’t.
I’ve had it happen a few times where I can’t see it on their status but they can. Ask if they can see your comment.
This was happening frequently over the last few days, likely due to some glitch the were fixing. Everything seems to be restored, at least from my end.
Mine is being a bitch too. I can’t even comment or completely load in Chrome anymore and had to go back to Explorer. Sometimes my comments stay, sometimes they don’t. I am kinda hoping this is one of those problems I can ignore and it will fix itself eventually.
I think it happens when they are converting a new batch of people to the new timeline. It was doing that to me quite a bit a few weeks ago, but seems to have settled down now.
