Android phone, Chrome. There are two Facebook accounts that we access on this phone. We don’t use the Facebook app. Both accounts are configured the same. One continues to load fine. For two days, the other loads only 0-3 items in the feed plus a spinning grey circle with “Getting new posts” that never does and never resolves.
We have signed out and in, restarted the phone, and cleared the whole cache, cookies, passwords, images, etc. No luck. I welcome your suggestions.
Try a different browser and see what happens? May i ask why you don’t use the FB app on the phone?
Try resetting your router.
I generally don’t like app interfaces as compared to the browser versions. I can try downloading another browser. Do you have a suggestion for one that doesn’t use a huge amount of memory?
Opera Mini is pretty decent. You’re just trying to see if you can replicate the problem in a different browser. It may help determine which end the problem is on.
Thaks. Seems to be working better in Opera Mini. Not perfect, but that may be due to Opera settings rather than a Meta issue. I’m not fond of Opera in general, but it’s a good work around.
