Family Guy on 04/17 was one of the funniest, EVER! Adam West shooting the fisherman, telling carol he had aides. And when Lois brought in Doggy Daddy! Hilarious!
But what about Meg? She was conspicuously not a part of this episode, especially since her on again/off again lover was marrying her Aunt. It was only a few weeks ago that Brian caught her at a restaurant with West and she said something to effect “yeah, this still goes on every now and then”.
What gives? Why didn’t she make a fuss?
I’ll only say that if you’re looking for continuity in the Family Guy universe… good luck.
I saw an older episode recently in which Adam West had moved in with Brian’s ex, Jillian. The dude gets around!
On a related note, has the show ever self-referenced the odd fact that Quahog’s mayor is Adam freaking West, or explained how this came to be so? In my recollection, they have not.
To my knowledge, no. I think I read an interview with Seth wehre he said it’s almost like an alternate universe where Adam West never actually played Batman in the 60’s, so therefore he’s not a celebrity in the Family Guy universe, other than being the mayor of a small RI town.
