Pretty funny. They certainly show Peter in the nude every chance they get. The pig in the kitchen cabinet was great.
Clinton was good. I loved the line, “You certainly are persuasive, Mr. President!” after both Peter and Lois separately end up in bed with him.
What tune did Clinton play on his sax with the two Secret Servicemen? Chico and the Man? Some '70s sitcom, I think. Seemed very familiar, but I couldn’t place it.
I think they’re really overusing Old Pedophile Guy lately. The more often you’re exposed to him, the less creepy he gets. Granted, he’s still the creepiest character in the history of cartoons…I’m just saying! His paralyzed dog really makes me cringe.
The first Conway Twitty interlude was kind of dumb. But when they brought it back to exit A.G. Bell’s awkward moment, that’s when it became funny.
Was anyone else surprised that Lois hopped into bed with Clinton? Seemed kind of out of character, no matter how persuasive Bill can be. (Peter, on the other hand, I believe entirely.)
The first one was playing on Hee Haw, after having a Southern character tell a joke. But the second one was indeed hilarious.
And for some reason, I can’t get the old-time gymnasts’s version of Alley Cat out of my head. Eggs and steak and steak and eggs, that’s what you must eat…
Lois, after having cheated with Clinton, decides the only thing that’ll make it right is for Peter to have a fling with a woman of his choice. He unexpectedly chooses Lois’s mom (I was reminded of an earlier episode that had a flashback showing Lois’s mom on her knees, wearing black bra and panties, about to service Jackie Gleason and I was, to be frank, a bit turned on) because she’s “hot” and even more unexpectedly, Lois’s mom agrees, since Lois’s dad has become unaffectionate in recent years and she’s starved for attention. Peter balks at the last second, though, and tells Lois that evening the score doesn’t matter, he loves her, etc.
Peter decides to clear the air with Clinton, goes to his hotel room, a smash cut later Peter’s in bed with Clinton, expressing awe at the latter’s powers of persuasion.
I got that it was a Hee Haw reference; I just didn’t think it was that funny. But the second time gave the gag more depth, or just a little more oomph.
Regarding the recap, there was one final gag during the credits: Brian finally uses the toilet- or at least humors Lois into thinking he is. He’s still found a place to do his business. Cut to: Mayor Adam West, talking to himself while looking at his garden, mocking those naysayers who said you can’t plant sausage. Wink, wink.
