There’s no connection between them, watch in any order you want.

the Simpsons had their season premier.
Family Guy had their season premier which was an hour crossover with the Simpsons.
the episodes aren’t connected.

Can I hijack this thread for a question about The Simpsons premiere? Not the FG crossover but the Simpsons episode, the one where:
Krusty’s rabbi father diesWhen Krusty is dreaming he’s in Jewish heaven why was there a shot of Ebbets Field with the still New York Dodgers & Giants playing? What is so ‘Jewish’ about this? (obviously not a sports fan…)
I think it’s more of a “New York/Baseball” thing than a specifically “Jewish” thing.
I liked the Simpsons/FG crossover, but looking forward to the Futurama crossover more.
