People roll their eyes at the re-record. I don’t think they should. I believe the line, as written, was laugh and cry. Fully, I believe it.

But I am telling you, Stewie said nothing resembling laugh and cry the first time. He forgot the L in laugh, changed the vowel sound, and took the d off of and. That’s the only solution. It sounded nothing like laugh and cry at all. I assume that the voice actor just kinda stumbled on his words. The re-record actually made the line come out correctly.
