Fantasy Baseball Gone To the 360

I give to you 2K Sports MLB Front Office Manager. I don’t think it’ll necessarily replace fantasy baseball, but it could very well be a helluva placebo for people during the winter to get their draft strategies down and have some kind of simulation that they can put their picks to.

So, basically, it’s like Out of the Park Baseball, except on a console. Pretty cool, I guess, though I’d like to hear how it compares to The Real Thing.

So would I. Of course, I’d have to be more familiar with The Real Thing as well. This appeals to me because I’m the kind of dork that gobbles this kind of stuff up. I’d completely be down with having a winter league.

Having just traded in the 360 for a PS3 (I coveted the bluray), will players be able to play against each other across platforms? I doubt PS3ers will be able to go up against Xbox Live guys, but what about 360 v. PC?

As for the game itself, I’d never use this as a prep for fantasy baseball. I don’t trust game makers to be as accurate predictors as projections like PECOTA or MARCEL. And there are far more people using mockdraftcentral.com for draft practice than there ever will be on this. Still, could be interesting…

Nope. PC to 360 would be possible, if not likely. PS3 to 360 isn’t going to happen.
