Yes, looks like there are 10 teams now.
I decided to actually read the FAQ and some other pages and couldn’t find out anything about the draft either. It may be random generated for the first round, that would be more fair. Bummer about that name, Spiritus Mundi.
Some things I did notice:
17 games, 2 against each team except one team you only play once.
You can leave a team the same as it is from week to week, but need to access it at least every 4 weeks to not be considered ‘dormant’.
But I shall rise up against my misfortune and RULE THE UNIVERSE FROM BEYOND THE DRAFT! (o check into the psycho ward, whichever comes first.)
What I really want to know, though, is where are the other Dopers? The rumor mill is empty! No smack is being spoken! That’s just wrong.
Spirit, so how many leagues are you playing in? For that matter, how many SDMB leagues are there? I got a little confused by the multiple threads on this topic.
To make matters worse, my hotmail handle (sawsuaa) is different from my SDMB handle (ShibbOleth).

Well, it took me a while to figure this out, but with the letter ‘T’ coming after the letter ‘S’ it is I who would be picking last, not you Mundi. D’oh!
Hmm…wonder if I can move my team from Timbuktoo to Abilene.
Next time I’ll sing the alphabet song before making fun of someones name.
The order in which teams are displayed in the Sandbox league is not alphabetical, nor is it ordered by when an owner joined the league.
Thus, I speculated that teams were listed in draft order, which means I am drafting last.

I am in two SDMB fantasy leagues. I believe there are 3 total (2 on Yahoo and one on Sandbox). The Unspeakable Hacks are in the first Yahoo league (along with Spiritus’ Mondays)

Well, my defense is a little suspect, but like the Rams and Vikes I shall simply overwhelm my opponents with offensive firepower. Look on my team, ye mighty, and despair!

Chrebet and Galloway are wastes, as are most of my defenders, but I love my starting offense (QB-RB-WR-+ 3 flex) And if any of the reclamation projects I have backing up Faulk at RB come through, I will have excellent trade bait to shore up that defense.
It’s fun to think that Aaron Brooks is the weakest part of my starting offense (TE is a wash for everybody not named Gonzalez or Sharpe).
