Does anyone know what’s up with this? Were the episodes aired in the wrong order originally?
The episodes on the discs are in production order which is slightly different from the original airing order in the US. Production order is considered to be more “correct” in that it avoids a continuity error or two.
Second season suffers from the same problem but also introduces a problem on the last disc. Episodes 19-21 were a three episode arc and they released episodes 18-22 as part of a single two-disc set. Rather than split the arc across two discs, they put 18 and 22 on one disc and 19-21 on the second. So, watching the first disc through causes major problems.
In third and fourth season production order and airdate order are the same.
