As for all the people trying to ‘elevate’ “fat” to other purposefully hurtful words…you need hobbies…Can ‘fat’ be an insult…yes (and was in the OP), but it certainly doesn’t have to be.

The problem is that, unlike your examples, being fat is an undesirable trait in and of itself.

How so? Yes, it’s unhealthy for me to be fat, but how is that hurting anyone else? Does it really cause anyone real distress to have to look upon me?
