I used to not like that song until I saw a video of Prince covering it at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. For some reason it took that cover for me to see its genius.
After reviewing the video, I must also note that Prince’s solo at the 4:00 mark is the moment I realized he is a god.
I’m leaning that way also. Hard to pick just one, but it’s probably a George song.
