Favorite Brand of Frozen Pizza?

Tombstone. Except their pepperoni tastes a bit off from staying in the packages so long so I always get the cheese. Then again nowadays since I have frozen pizza so little, all frozen pizza meats taste a little off.

I used to love Totino’s as well, except for two things. 1, it gave me heartburn (but I didn’t realize that until several years after I stopped eating it,) and 2, once I dropped a Totino’s pizza on the floor and it fell face down. It was all the way done and didn’t seem to have picked up anything off the floor, so I ate it anyway. It tasted better than it normally did. I continued to eat Totino’s for years after that. I don’t remember why I stopped: perhaps due to its relative unhealthiness. That is partly why I don’t partake of the 'za as much nowadays, that and Tombstone is usually so expensive.

I love Tombstone pepperoni & sausage… it tastes JUST like the pizza I used to get at the drive in many years ago.

If I dress it up, it loses the drive in taste, but still yummy- onion, black olives, bacon and extra cheese!

About the only time that I eat frozen pizza anymore is for lunch (at work) and have found Lean Cuisine BBQ chicken or spinach and mushroom pizza to my liking.

Tombstone is the best but they’ve become way too hecking expensive nowadays

I used to could get them for 2 dollars. Now they’re over 4 dollars. A very rare treat I only get when they’re on sale.
I remember too they used to have cheese stuffed crust but I never see that anymore

This thread has inspired me to start that pizza cooking…

My go-to frozen pie is Safeway Select Self-Rising Pepperoni. I doctor it up with some pesto, onion, tomatoes and olives.

UNOs deep dish

I say we take this to the pit so we can say what we really feel about some of these pizzas.

Late one night, I was accompanying a girlfriend back from a night out of drinking.
As we walked back from the public transit station, I paused to vomit off of a bridge. As she pleaded “Chilliwack, not there!”, a stranger from another group walking in the same direction said “Hey Chilliwack! You want a pizza? There were two in the pack, but I only want one. It’s still in the plastic, so it’s not like I put drugs in it or anything. See?”
In between heaves I managed to get out “Give it to her.” and “Thanks!”
We went back to her place and cooked the pizza. It was delicious.

So that’s my favourite brand of frozen pizza. (I’m pretty sure it was Delissio, or DiGiorno as is pronounced in American)

Connie’s. But I’m not supposed to eat it because it’s not gluten-free.

Ever eaten a non-homemade GF pizza? That’s why I sometimes splurge on Connie’s. Totally delicious.

Both Aldi and Archer Farm have a goat cheese pizza that is so awesome. I generally like the Aldi Mama Cozzi frozen pizza, but the take and bake Aldi pizzas are bland*, which is too bad because they’re enormous and cheap.

*I just wanted to add that I’m a total pizza slut so when I don’t like a pizza it’s pretty serious.

Wal-Mart has Great Value pizza singles, four to a box for about $3.98. I usually get the supreme singles. 90 seconds in the microwave and nom nom nom.

Safeway Open Nature pizzas are pretty good. They’re a thin-crust style, which is what I prefer.

Aldi’s Mama Cozza frozen pizza, particularly the chicken, spinach and garlic, has recently become very popular with my teenager, but he also loves the Jack’s brand of frozen pizza.

I’m getting very picky about pizza lately and all I seem to want is Marco’s All Meat pizza, extra cheese, light on the sauce. But that’s fresh, not frozen.

Moving this to CS.

Digiorno’s by far, since I prefer thicker crust. It is better than a lot of pizza store pizzas. I haven’t tried some of the more obscure brands mentioned here.
My real favorite is Red Baron min breakfast pizzas, which, since I loved them, are gone. They came back for a short time a year or so ago and we bought up all our freezer would hold. Anyone know if they exist in any part of the country? I can mail order them, but that’s a bit much.

Elio’s. Celeste if I have to do it in the microwave.

Another vote for Tombstone. I also like the occasional Red Baron.

Thin crust, too. I’ve never been a fan of thick crust. Not that I don’t like it. It’s just that, when I’m eating pizza, I want to keep eating pizza, and thick crust fills me up too quickly. And I’ll keep eating it anyway until it’s all gone, and then I’m bloated and miserable.

Totinos is far better if we salt and pepper and add a few cloves of chopped garlic; I also like to top with fresh spinach for a bit of nutrition.

My local grocery store, Giant Eagle, is my favorite brand. Self-rising, good stuff.
